Local Area Webmaster Snaps Wingless Streak

Last week my father announced to me that he was giving up his 1500. I figured "what the heck" and now I'm the proud owner of his last ride. Today, with a sun burned face from the solo ride home from Storm Lake, I participated in my first group ride in probably 2 years.
Short of spening a few hours in the middle of the ride hunting, charging and eventually installing a battery (not on my bike though) the day couldn't of been any more perfect to add to my face burn. During the installation process of said battery, this picture was snapped by Rick (who can't get lost because of the GPS device on his bike).
With gas approaching $3.00 per gallon and expected to rise up and beyond $5.00 to cover the large pension fund of the Exxon guy needs to live on, Laura and I decided now is a great time to get back into the saddle. At this time, I cannot speculate what my father will be doing in his spare time without his 1500 but know what I'll be doing with it.
