Arms for Aaron

GWTA Chapter I (IA) is proud to sponsor a charity ride in support of Arms for Aaron on June 17th. This little guy was born without shoulders or arms due to a genetic disorder called Holt Oram Syndrome and has had a pretty rough life but his bright smile and spirit would never lead you to believe it.

 

We saw the story on the news and thought we had to do something. When we found out Aaron is the grandson of a member of our chapter, we KNEW we had to do something. Thus, this charity ride was envisioned.

 

It is our hope, and we  have been told, that if we can raise enough funds at this event, that this will put them over the top and Aaron would have his first set of shoulders and arms by the end of June.

 

We know it is short notice but if you can attend, please do so. If you cannot attend, help us out by spreading the word so this young man can attain his dream of having arms. If you cannot attend but wish to donate, please contact us for our mailing address. Checks can be made out to Arms for Aaron.

 

If you know of chapters or groups I missed that might be interested, please forward this on to them.
