Are Motorcycle Riders Safe?

Many of us feel motorcycle helmets may save your head in the event of an accident.  Let's face it, if you have a ten dollar head, wear a ten dollar helmet.  But are there any other dangers involved in riding a bike?  According to an article I read on http://www.motorcyclecancer.com/, unsuspecting riders are at risk of cancer from electromagnetic radiation emitting right up through their seat. The article calls this radiation a "Death Shower From Below" and it can cause prostate, testicle, bladder, kidney and liver cancer (just to name a few).

Randall Dale Chipkar has written a book titled "Motorcycle Cancer Are Motorcycles Killing Us With Cancers of the Prostate, Colon, Kidney, Bone, Etc.?".  He feels governments and industries dismiss such claims because no conclusive evidence is shown to exist to support it.  But does that mean it isn't there?  Chipkar hopes denial isn't considered a solution.  He claims that he knows countless motorcycle riders who suffer from similar forms of cancer.  Is there a connection?

Most motorcycles locate the battery, electric modules and cables directly under the seat.  Present with any electricity flow is an invisible phenomenon called Electromagnetic Field Radiation. According to Chipkar every type of motorcycle he has tested has had some form of radiation emitting from the stator and ignition wires.  His website sells his book and also offers a meter for testing your own motorcycle.  Read the entire article at the link provided above.

Having read all of this which was provided from the website, how do you feel about your seat?  Take the survey and/or leave a comment.
