Bucket List 2010

Here's the place to have fun and list your plans, hopes, and dreams for the upcoming ride season... if not this year, then maybe sometime in the future. What's on your Bucket List for 2010?

1/2 of Chapter NE-W Director
1/2 of Assistant State Director - Nebraska
2009 - 2010 GWTA Family of the Year
all 93 NE counties - with RR and Hammy

1. Grab the two Canadian provinces in Region C so that we can say we visited all 7 states and 2 provinces while we were Region C Family of the Year.

2. Have a hobo-themed Camp-out in a railroad car... How many people can say they've slept in a caboose? You can do that in Nebraska!

3. Sleep with the fishes or maybe the penguins... camped out in the Omaha Zoo. You can do that in Nebraska, too!

4. Ride my motorcycle to the top of a volcano. We can do that in New Mexico. (Kind of already did that by riding to the rim of the caldera in Yellowstone, but I'm not sure if that would really count. New Mexico has a paved road that winds around their volcano until you reach the top!)

Ohhh, and one big one...

5. Grab Oklahoma for my "All 50 States" Map, so that Duck will stop pulling his hair out trying to figure out how we got enough velocity on the bikes to vault over the panhandle from Kansas to Texas. (Then I can really mess with him by planning a trip to Hawaii!!!)

6. Attend GWTA Region C Rally in Spearfish, SD -- of course.

7. Attend GWTA Gold Rush XXIII in Montana and ride the BearTooth again -- of course.

8. Attend GWTA anything that we can possibly attend.... but you knew that already!

1 Ride the west coast highway all the way up to Washington.

2 Have fun with my friends.

3 Get that short guy out west to quit picking on me.

4 have fun with my friends.

5. Attend just about everything I can in Region C

6 Have fun with my friends.

Someday:

9. Ride the Lincoln Highway Coast to Coast

10. Ride the Pacific Coast.

11. Glacier National Park

12. Ride to the Evangeline Oak... if it's still there after all the hurricane's. (I still think that love story would make a great opera!)

These are mine but are not limited to 2010. These are planned after we upgrade our camping rig a little more.

Alaska (not necessarily with the GoldWing)
I want to see the Grand Canyon for the first time
Make it back to Yellerstone
Visit Pikes Peak again
Get to four corners to see if Barb is still there.

What you gonna say about it?

Why are we doing this to me??? and ive never slept in a caboose but I have slept on one...thanks Paula!

I'd skip over OK too. They have some horrid roads down there anyway...they make Nebraska seem like a good road state.

One more thing to add to my list.

To be able to go one week with out more of this white stuff coming down.
